What to tell us for a quick diagnosis
With a few details we can get an idea of the fault before we set off and bring the right parts with us. That makes it far more likely we sort it in a single visit.
- Where the installation is: the town, and whether it is a house, a flat, an apartment block or a business.
- Which service you need: TV aerial, satellite dish, door entry system, cameras, wifi or access control.
- Exactly what happens: “no channels at all”, “some channels are missing”, “the handset rings but there is no sound”, “it will not open the door”, “the camera will not show on my phone”…
- How long it has been going on: and whether it started with rain, wind, work on the roof, a power cut or a new router.
- Whether it affects everyone or just you: in an apartment block, whether every flat is affected or only yours.
- Photos: of the aerial or the satellite dish, the street panel, the handset or the message on the screen. WhatsApp makes them easy to send.
If you are the chair of a residents’ association or a property manager, give us the address of the building as well, roughly how many flats it has and someone to contact about access to the roof or the plant rooms.
With that we can tell you whether it looks like a straightforward repair or whether a fuller survey is needed, and when we can come out.
