What data we handle and how we get it
This website has no forms that store data and no user area. The contact form only drafts a message and opens WhatsApp on your device: the information is not stored on the website, and it only reaches us if you choose to send it.
We handle the data you give us when you ring us, message us on WhatsApp or send us an email: usually your name, phone number, the address where the work is needed, a description of the fault and, if you send them, photographs of the installation. If you go ahead with a job, we also handle the data needed to invoice you.
Please do not send us other people’s data without their consent, or photographs with people in them.
Why we use it
- To deal with your enquiry, assess the fault and send you a quote.
- To carry out the work you have booked: arranging the visit, doing the job and dealing with anything that comes up afterwards.
- Invoicing and meeting our accounting and tax obligations.
We do not build profiles or make automated decisions with your data, and we do not use it to send you advertising.
Legal basis
- Consent and pre-contractual steps taken at your request, when you contact us for information or a quote (arts. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
- Performance of a contract, when you book a job with us (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations, in tax and accounting matters (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
How long we keep it
Data from enquiries that do not lead to a job is kept for as long as it takes to deal with them and for no more than a year. Customer data is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and, after that, for the periods required by tax and commercial legislation and to deal with any liabilities.
Who receives it
We do not pass your data on to third parties unless the law requires it, for example to the Spanish tax authority. It may be accessed, as processors and under a contract that guarantees confidentiality, by the suppliers who provide us with accounting and tax advice, website maintenance and hosting.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, the service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of the Meta group, which handles your data under its own privacy policy and may involve international transfers covered by the safeguards set out in the GDPR. The same applies to the email services we use.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to digitalsalou@gmail.com or by post to the address above, providing suitable proof of identity.
If you believe we have not dealt with your rights properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in the service. The date it was last updated appears on this page.
