Cameras to suit each part of El Vendrell
El Vendrell covers very different kinds of property, and a CCTV system has to fit each one. You do not plan a shop in the centre, a block of flats in Coma-ruga or Sant Salvador, and a house on an estate that only opens in the holidays the same way. On the visit we look at the entrances, the light at night, where the recorder can go and how the connection gets there, and from that we propose the number and type of cameras.
Everything the service covers is set out under CCTV security cameras.
Second homes on the estates
This is the enquiry we get most from the area: owners of houses in Els Masos, Masia Blanca, La Muntanyeta or El Tancat who want to know what is happening while they are away. What works:
- Cameras at the gate and the ways in to the house, with good night vision.
- Smart detection of people and vehicles, so your phone does not alert every time a pine branch moves or a cat walks past.
- The recorder indoors, somewhere out of sight, still recording even if the internet drops.
- A reliable connection to every camera. On a large plot the router’s wifi will not reach the gate; we run network cable with PoE power, or fit an outdoor access point where cable is impossible.
A camera that drops off the network every few days is no use. So we spend time on the network before installing anything, and if it needs improving we suggest our wifi solutions.
Coastal flats and apartment blocks
In the buildings of Coma-ruga, Sant Salvador and El Francàs we work with residents’ associations wanting to keep an eye on entrances, garages and pool areas, particularly in winter when many flats are empty. Cameras on the entrances and the ramp, the recorder in a locked room, and access for the chairman or the property manager.
On the seafront we choose cameras with housings built for outdoor use and take care over connectors and junction boxes, because salt-laden damp finishes off any poorly sealed joint.
Shops and premises in the centre
In shops, bars and offices in the town centre we cover the entrance, the till and the back room. We set up separate users where there are managers, and alerts only outside opening hours. If you also need to protect the premises when they are closed, it can be combined with an alarm.
Privacy and using it properly
We guide you so the system meets the GDPR: a visible CCTV warning sign, cameras that do not take in the public street or neighbouring property beyond what is unavoidable, and limited retention of the footage. When we finish, we show you how to watch live, find a particular moment and export a clip.
Visit and quote
We work out from Salou and group our Baix Penedès visits; we fit cameras in Cunit on the same run. There is more about the area on our El Vendrell page.
